Poted Bismark palm tree adopted and ready to plant in my home.

Upon showing photos of my 1 year and 5 mos. old  Bismark palm tree to my mother, she told me she had, apparently for some years, a Bismark palm tree in a pot.

She gave it to me so I can offer it a nice home where to grow as well as finally leaving that pot.

The Bismark looked kind off abandoned so I picked it up today and will plant it tomorrow.

Hope it will grow happy in its new home !

Here a photo of my new buddy, my new palm tree companion !

That palm wants to get out of that pot so bad. Once in the ground you may see little to any growth as it spends much energy getting roots out.

Exactly !  That palm tree needs get out of that confinement !

I can wait for it to take its time getting healthy and growing it’s roots.

Once that is moving on, it will start showing it off, health and happiness through growth !

It must be hoping for a better life now that I transported it … the real excitement will happen in a couple hours when the digging starts … the. It will know it is for real !

It looks really good. The only thing further I would do is make the dug out area around it a bit bigger. It will be competing with all that grass for water and nutrients. Other than that it should do very well in that sunny position :)

Definitely, you’re right.

I will wait a little to allow the roots to settle and then will enlarge the hole around it.

This palm may be a good candidate for liquid fertilome root stimulator to help it really spread those roots.
