Clumping Palm Identification

Pee Dee Palms

So, these palms are going to be given away for free because they are outgrowing the pots that they are in. Most likely these will be in my yard pretty soon. So, to the question, what palm is this? I am horrible at identifying small shrub-like palms. I tried to figure it out by the current clumping palms I know about. This could be an extremely obvious palm, but I shall see.

It's Rhapidophyllum hystrix (needle palm).  Nice looking palm and quite cold hardy!

Awesome! I knew it would be something simple, I need to get better at my small palm identification.

Apparently the offsets can be easily removed and start new palms, but I don't have experience with this.  I believe @Laaz has posted about that.
