Watch a youtube video by Bananajssi and he has this palm in his greenhouse that he could not identify. Some say its Trithrinax and others Serenoa Repens anyone know what species this is?

Thanks. He had one outside and it died during the big freeze in western Canada. Anyone else know this species?
