I went to Cape Fear Botanical Garden a couple weeks ago and thought I would share some of the pictures I took of the palms because they are pretty new to the garden and must of been planted within the last 4 years because they weren't their the last time I went. It was my first time seeing Sabal Minor in person, and photos don’t do them justice, but they are huge!! I'm about 5'6" and they are really big.

There are some Sabal palmettos. I'm assuming they are palmettos, but I swear I could mistake them for casiarum with how giant their fronds and trunk are. I really wish I got a photo of the other ones because they are so massive that wasps were making nests on the leaves!

Theirs is one trachy that's completely leaned over, hiding under a tree or bush that I almost missed, but I saw its fronds poking out.
