Something is off. Maybe a double or triple trunk forming?

Phoenix sylvestris is an elegant palm, which is incredibly cold hardy (8b or better). It can take temperatures down to 10°F and survive.

The leaves on this tree seem to hang downward in a way that is unnatural for this palm. It appears to be quite short for its apparent age. Could this suggest a hybrid but I am uncertain what other Phoenix would be the mix?

I've seen dactylifera have fronds like that; pendant, biplanar leaflets, etc. my best guess is a P. sylvestris x dactylifera hybrid in that case. But it very well could be inside sylvestris' natural variation, I'm not sure
