Here are the current forecasts. It looks like a high of 36-37C in west London probably on Friday or Saturday. The hottest temps may not be in London, but more over southwest. 38C possible somewhere. The whole week though is going to be in the 30-37C range for London and southeast England.

Total rainfall at St James Park in central London was 0.01 inches for July. Some places have seen nothing whatsoever. Last meaningful rain for me was in June and even that month only had 0.62 inches for me here. This summer as a whole for me so far is on 0.63 inches. My annual total so far in 2022 is 4.62 inches.

Greece is currently experiencing a late October heat spell.

It is already 33C locally in south Crete according to the Davis stations of the island....and its only 1pm  local time now in Greece.

It's going to remain hot across Greece the next 3-4 days.

We will most probably get first "not a single rain drop" October ever. Temperature is on other side just perfect, nights about 18 and days around 25C. Simply beautiful:)

Abnormally warm in London for October. No sign of any cold going into November.
