Silver Queen might just be real

This Silver Queen I have endured multiple nights in the 20s with frost, while being in a pot. It completely lost all of its foliage after being destroyed by a frost, which was then followed by a thunderstorm. After all of that, I surely thought the thing was dead. After all of the fronds being annihilated, it still had it's spear. I went out one day a few months ago and decided I would tug on the spear to see if it would have a spear pull. Sure enough, as I very gently pulled on the spear, it slid right out. I tore back some of the old petioles and didn't see any sign of life. I decided that I would throw the plant away the next day. The next day rolls around and I completely forget about it. Here we are a few months later, doing my typical stroll around the house, to check on my plants. I glanced at my potted Silver Queen on the back porch, and decided I would go check on it, just in case it somehow survived, and thanks to my laziness for not throwing it away, I see it pushing a nice new green frond from the growth point. Maybe the Silver Queen is real? Only time will tell. (Picture of new spear isn't good, I promise it is green.)

Boy it sure is! The funniest part about this is yesterday I was telling DAVEinMB about how I don't think the Silver Queen exists. His had a spear pull and died. Mine had a spear pull and "died", on top of that being in a pot, and a very young palm. It's truly amazing.

I also don't really know what to do with this palm going forward. I don't know if I should treat the inside of the crown with hydrogen peroxide. I mean, the palm is pushing a new frond, does this mean the infection is gone?

I have two silver queens in pots… imo they aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. They seem to spear pull easily , but always come back. So far anyway

Definitely not as tough as what people say they are. It still amazes me after all of the nights in the 20s and severe thunderstorms.
