Love the color of the new fronds on my Ceratozamia Mexicana when they flush! They are massive and green is such a bright color! This cycad looks great year round; no off season for it.

Aside from the silver / blue - toned Encephalartos / Dioon,  Ceratozamia & Zamia are top tier choices for Cycads..   Many are reasonably hardy as well... Ceratozams. at least.   Limiting one's self the wayyy too common and " eh " < cough > Cycas revolta  is a bit of a head scratcher, imo.

If someone ever nails creating a big leaved Zamia imperialis / skinneri  look alike,  that is about as hardy as Cycas revolta,  ..you won't see anyone settling for Sago Palms ever again..

A bit of variation in this species.  I have one that flushes with this chocolate color similar to a Ceratozamia robusta flush.  My flush is still behind yours as the leaflets are still stretching out.  Striking plant with both the green and the chocolate flushes with the glossy leaves.  I'm still waiting to see whether this is a male or female cone.  I have guessed wrong on too many Ceratozamia cones to rush a decision.

Very Cool! I have a Ceratozamia Latifolia that flushes with the bronze / chocolate color before they eventually fade to green.

That is a beautiful species as well.  I have a female one here that wants to put more energy into pushing cones rather than big flushes.

Those look flawlessly grown. I agree that they will probably become more popular someday.
