Sharing for knowledge of cold hardiness between Sylvester, Alfreddii, Royal zone 9b

Zone 9b north of ormond beach, about 3 miles inland. I did not prune my Sylvester or alfreddii at all since winter. The royal had some of the dead trimmed off, new spear is super green and healthy but I’m putting this out there to share context on the cold hardiness of these palms.

None of these 3 were protected and experienced maybe a low of 28/29 and under 32 for approximately 3 hours in February. Disclaimer the royal was planted from a field grown specimen about 3 weeks prior to the cold temps so that probably didn’t help it.
