Thanks for the comment!  The growth over the last two years has been amazing!  I don't think it's going to make very many new fronds this year compared to last year.  Just too cold so far.    I think it made eight new fronds last season.  It was only knee high when I planted it and now it's almost shoulder high.  I'm optimistic for trunking in five years.

What a stunner!!  My little baby Jubea Chilensis strap leaves are putting up another spear, so they are moving and growing... Can't wait to see them like yours above.  I'll likely be retired at that point LOL!

Good to hear those are doing great in Texas!  The siblings to the ones I sent you haven't grown a bit.  Very cold spring weather we are having up here.

I've been eye'ing them like a hawk daily, and finally last week they started pushing new growth.  It's their first year in the ground, and they're dreadfully slow... bad combination for me, but I am going to give them a shot long term and see where we get.  Why not?
