A couple of the local orchid societies in San Diego County contributed to a month long display of orchids in the relatively new Conservatory in the gardens.  Here were a few of my favorites from the displays.  They plan to rotate some of the ones that go out of bloom out and replace them with other specimens as the month progresses.  It started Mother's Day weekend and will run through June 12th.

1)  Coilostylis parkinsoniana, formerly Epidendrum parkinsonianum

2)  Something that looks a lot like Rhycholaeliana digbyana but is a little different, perhaps a hybrid?

3)  Aranda hybrid (Aranda orchids are hybrids between Arachnis and Vanda orchids) a new one on me.

4)  Unknown with fat pseudobulbs that resemble Dendrobium speciosum but again was not.
