Does anyone have any idea as to the ID of this poor tortured specimen which I have just recently adopted?

Kind of looks like vivipera with green margins or medio-picta alba with very narrow washed out margins
Thanks

Agave desmettiana ' Variegata' perhaps?  While often called " Smooth " Agave, many specimens will have some deg. of teeth on the leaf margins.

Yep, I would say either "Joe Hoak" or maybe "Quicksilver" as they are very similar.  I think Quicksilver doesn't have the yellow stripe.
