Morning garden walk with Suubi at the new house and these Chrysalidocarpus Sp Mayotte hybrids caught my eye.

Ptychosperma microcarpum is thin/tiny palm that is well put together, with a beautiful habit.

Hey Jason, thanks again for the Chrysalidocarpus malcomberi photos. You saw this one a few years back before trunking, it has since grown quite a bit. Great color and nice leaf arrangement, although it still looks very similar to C. mananjarensis to me.

Another old crownshaft on a Chrysaltidocarpus prestonianus came off today and the new color never fails to catch my eye.

Amazing!  I’m about to plant one here in Pepeekeo that’s been in a 15 gallon pot for too long. Will be happy to get in the ground

This time of year in Florida, flowering sabal palms with nice, healthy-sized crowns look beautiful and quite elegant. I was also struck by this little "sabal minor that could" growing in the middle of a tree.

Jason, that’s incredible! Mine was just not in the right spot, I’m pretty sure it would die if I dug it up. Wouldn’t hurt to try I guess. Anyway, your’s is well on it’s way to monsterdom.

The spear cracked open into two as one is about to open it's leaflets on one of my Chrysalidocarpus decipiens.  The color immediately drew my attention.

Newly planted Dypsis Basilonga opening new frond!  So far it hasn’t burnt back at all. It gets dappled light most of the day .The brown leaves were already present when planted. Next to it , on the right , you can see partial view of Dypsis Plumosa. Harry

Another one of @DoomsDave Dypsis . Happy in its new home. This one a Dypsis Lanceolata , already showing growth. I spear marked it to the next petiole to show growth. That is about 3 weeks ago. HarryThe petiole on the right has a black line where the new spear was when I planted it.It looks like this one may clump by the way the base looks.
