Ptychosperma macarthurii (Macarthur Palm)

Just wondering if anyone in central or north Florida has had success growing Ptychosperma macarthurii in a large pot or tub.  I have a very protected microclimate under live oak canopy and was wanting to give it a try.  I've grown Adonidia merrillii for years without protection in that same area and think I could possibly pull it off.  I don't ever get frost under that canopy. Any suggestions are much appreciated.  Also, does anyone know anyone who carries these in their nurseries on the east coast of Florida or central Florida.  I'd rather not drive all the way down to Miami Homestead area if I can help it. Thanks for any info you can provide!!

I have one in the ground that is fine now that I moved it near the avocado trees.  It didn't seem to mind being in a large pot.

Mine came from the last Searle Sale: https://www.palmtalk.org/forum/index.php?/topic/52296-palms-and-others-of-interest/&do=findComment&comment=1011442

@Reeverse might know someone who carries them closer to your location.  @PalmJuan might have a few over in Hastings that he could part with as well.

I have two clumps of P. Macarthurii in the ground here in the NW Orlando area.  They took significant damage at 24-26F with frost, but both clumps survived.  This is the bigger one at about 4' tall, and the heavily bronzed fronds all died.  The tallest center stalk died, but the rest are growing okay.  I would guess this palm saw about 26F with moderate frost.  The year before that clump saw about 28F + frost and had only minimal burn.  I'd think that under canopy it would do okay.

Edit: BTW the palm to the left is an Elaeis Guineensis and it took zero damage.  I think that palm is much hardier than it's given credit for.
