I transplanted two large native Sabal Minors about five years ago. This one survived with a Med Fan palm next to it. This plant flowered and produced seed this year. Do Sabal minor need another plant to reproduce or could it have cross pollinated with what I assume a male Fan Palm?

Sabal are self fertile. They are too unrelated to med fan palms to cross pollinate

Still have a garden in Zone 9a Inland North Central Florida (Ocala)
