I currently want to get Sylvester palm I’m in zone 7a South Carolina. We get a few days around freezing each year. Will Sylvester’s do ok in this climate? I would be willing to do some overwintering and heat lamps from December-February, Even shelter for any snow. Can I be successful with this palm in my area.

If you look up the temps they can withstand it says down to 15 degree? I have noticed there aren’t any around me but We rarely get below freezing and I’ve never seen 15?
