Chulada! I love how happy the palms always look in Colima and Michoacan. I may be wrong but I think that last one is Washingtonia Filibusta.

The elephant foot trunk makes them easily distinguishable from the W. Filifera. The campgrounds nearby my neighborhood has quite a bit of W.Filibusta as well as some W.Filifera growing in the grass at the entrance. I grew up seeing both down in Baja as a kid so I associate them with those fond memories. Both beautiful and grow like weeds, but I would never want one in my yard. Needless to say, I'm not a fan. :greenthumb:    Totally blew past the "fili-bustra " part, haha..   X filibustra?   i'll pass on those as well..  Regular filifera?  Having a few in the neighborhood that are a standout shade of aqua blue-green has really made me admire these more..  Wouldn't mind a couple, if i had the space..

Can only imagine how awesome the Palms and landscapes in Baja are, -in person.. On the " visit asap " list for sure.

Funny how some people get nervous when the idea of a road trip down there is mentioned, but, people i've met and discussed the topic with in- depth, ...who have actually been there / visit regularly share a completely different view of things.
