I've had them growing in shade with a tiny bit of sun in the afternoon but I'm not sure how much more sun I should give them or is this how they normally look?

In FL they take full sun from the moment of germination.

What temperature do you bring royal seedlings in? It will be 48 degrees tonight but they have overhead protection it's just going to be chilly tonight but maybe I should bring them inside?, should I also ditch the watering tray since we are in cooler weather now?

Royal's are Tropical Palms, especially as seedlings, start to bring them in when the night time temps start hitting 50f. and Yes ditch the tray, as cold water especially to Tropical Palms, is very lethal.
