3 months I've had my palms now. Even with the heavy disease pressure it still looks OK. Pushing out a new frond slowly but surely. How are yalls coconut palms looking around this time? You can see the previous leaf wasnt up to size compared to the other fronds i think it was stunted a bit but now im hoping the leaf its opening now will be back on track with its regular size fronds.20220825_180434.thumb.jpg.09b85e6545b5e82c06492039cf55d8d7.jpg

A while back, there were some posts tracking Coconut palms growing in New Smyrna Beach (Volusia County) on the Atlantic coast of Florida.  There was one at a restaurant and some rather large ones that someone planted at an oceanfront home just South of New Smyrna Beach on A-1-A.  Has anyone been over there to take a look recently?  If still there, all of them should be getting large by now.  I looked for the posts but could not find any of them.

If anyone could provide a status, I am sure everyone would enjoy it.  Thanks.

The large cities on the I-4 corridor(and close by) have their own respective threads with lots of coconuts ... and other sensitive plants:

There are additional threads if you want to search for them.  While the indexing is running on PalmTalk's backend, you can search PalmTalk coconuts in <city of choice> in Google and tons of results will come up.

Here is what I assume is a Panama Tall. could be an hybrid though, the photo isn't very clear but it's already pushing a new leaf. I collected this palm in Quintana Roo mexico.
