My parajubaea has finally seeded thought it was torallyi but the seeds are too small.
Do you  have an idea which one 🤔

Did you grow it from seed or got it as a seedling. I’m thinking P torralyi var microcarpa.

Millbrook, "Kinjarling" Noongar word meaning "Place of Rain", Rainbow Coast, Western Australia 35S. Warm temperate. Csb Koeppen Climate classification. Cool nights all year round.

I always read @Tassie_Troy1971 & @Tyrone for palm facts.  I had one photo I took of seeds identified by much smarter PT Members as Para. Tor. from 2 locations in Ventura (the college and Sullivan estate) cleaned of the green fruit (which was much larger and more round, but no photo) and the seed had ridges and terrain type contour which made it so difficult to remove the fruit and doesn't match the smooth seed shown.  I would have suggested a hybrid, but your full photo of the donor palm doesn't look hybrid.

The reason I asked if it was grown from seed, is if you can remember the original seed size that will answer the question. If it’s the first seeding for this palm they could be on the small size possibly. If not though, and this is the correct size, then it’s Parajubaea torallyi var microcarpa, which still looks like Parajubaea torallyi var torallyi just a tad smaller reportedly, with smaller seeds.

That was my first thought too Tyrone. Visually, it looks like P torallyi to me too, and the first batch of seeds can be smaller than normal.
