Coconuts and frond drops

I have two coconut trees, one about 40 feet tall and one 35 feet tall (to the top of the trunks excluding the fronds).  They are arching over my swimming pool.  I have a tree company to come twice a year to cut the coconuts down with a bucket truck.

I have been thinking about installing some shade sails over part of my pool to provide some shade.  Something like this.

So my question is, let's say the coconuts and fronds are at 45' above ground, and these sails are at 15' above ground, will a dropping frond or a dropping coconut tear the sail on their way down or will the sail be able to withstand the drop?  As far as I know these shade sails are water permeable and made of HDPE.

I don't know how close to the ocean you are, but have you considered the noise of them flapping in the breeze? Here (2 miles from water) it's breezy most of the time during the day and I think they'd take a beating besides the noise of them flopping. Have you seen them used here?
