Hi Cindy,

Trying to register but it seems the site is down once again.  The little circle is just spinning in circles.

Oh no!

I will get in touch with those in charge right away!

I hope it is just site overload with lots of folks trying to sign up, but am so sorry about the frustration.

However I am extremely happy that you are coming to New Cal!!

This is what I have been told by those in the know:

“Responses have been so overwhelming the software is viewing some of the incoming registrations as potential spam.”

Apparently it is “easily fixed at headquarters”, but on a Sunday there could be a delay.

Again our apologies for the inconvenience.

I did a completely unofficial age survey of the oldest and youngest registrants for New Cal so far.

I really do not see who has and has not registered, but the folks I asked had shared that they are all in for our Biennial and then answered my age survey question.

We have a Biennial attendee who will be 86 for the event and we have someone who will be 30 next Fall.

A 56 year age spread so far.

Please let me know (or just reply here) if you will be 30 or younger  or will be 86 or older by Sept 2024.

I want to show another way in which we are a diverse group and that there will be many activities suitable for everyone’s fitness level.

Don’t let age stop you from signing up!

Hi Cindy, thank you so much for your hard work and the hours you continually contribute to the IPS. I did get a phone call Sunday morning and we easily worked it out and registered over the phone directly.  So the Seales are coming and truly look forward to seeing everyone and the beauty of New Caledonia.

Thank you so much for your patience and your kind words Jeff.

I am very exited that you and Andrea are all in for New Caledonia!

I am told that there are more people who have signed up in the merely 11 days that full registration has been open than in any previous Biennial!

I don’t want anyone to pay the extra $150 it will cost after September 30 (or possibly get closed out) so please everyone tell all your friends in the Palm world to register now.

Nice to have you Josh on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

Well, for some, a twice-in-a-lifetime... but I doubt ever again!!!

I do some experiments and learning in my garden with palms so you don't have to experience the pain! Look at my old threads to find various observations and tips!

The biennial and pre-tour have officially sold out. A waiting list has already begun at palms.org.

I am  looking forward to renewing old PalmTalk friendships and meeting new Palmtalk friends in NC.

Kim it is my understanding that registration has not yet opened for the pretour. I have seen a tentative itinerary, but have never seen a price.

I anticipate that it will go on PT with a registration link as soon as all has been decided.

I suspect you have seen it there by now.  I  am basically using a 10 ton press on my piggy bank and reducing my meal intake by 25% for next year.. but I'm  going. 🤕
