I have a coconut palm that is a little over 1 year old. yesterday my dog damaged a side leaf which I had to remove. he has also gnawed on new leaves in the leaf rosette.:(I had to cut the new small leaves because nothing would grow out of them, is there any hope for this palm tree? Will it be able to put on new leaves again? or it is just to throw it away, will be grateful for all kinds of tips

The best thing to do here is leave it alone and put it where your dog can't reach it.

Yeah that palm will be completely fine.  Might just look dumb for a while.

It will be fine. May not look good for a while, but it'll be just fine.

Just keep it away from the dog.
