Outside of RPS having hybrid seed on occasion,  you're going to be hard pressed to find anyone selling these hybrids in seed form due to the amount of time and effort it goes in to producing them.

Good luck though in your search.

Finding Butia yatay hybrid seeds are probably like finding hens teeth. I've seen plants for sell, but I haven't seen seeds for sale.

Someday someone may have f2 seeds available.

Right, F2 seeds are ok but seedlings are ok too but the only person who breed them Patrick Schaefer After having given me his prices and when I placed my order he never replied back so I'm looking for another source.

This is not serious at all, he did the same thing with a friend of mine.

I don't know if this seller will ship internationally, but he has a good reputation.

Jubaea chilensis X Butia Capitata:

Is this seller a member here?  Anyone have further details on the parentage?  Did he do the cross or someone else?

Patrick is a most reputable seller of any kind of cocoid hybrid, stand behind his plants, and you have absolutely zero chance of finding Jubaea/Syagrus crosses anywhere else.   I would try again, as it sounds like a communication/language problem.  Also, please remember he is a hobbyist and not a nursery, so a little bit of patience goes a long way.

This is all I know.

I bought a batch of the hybrid and jubaea seeds. I'm hoping they will survive my climate if grown in a protected area.

Thanks.  I asked because again hybridizing is a time consuming art, and one that most artists keep what they produce for growing and selling.  Additionally, without knowing the parentage, who did the cross, etc there's no positive way of knowing these are hybrid are not.

Eric sold a a few thousand of his mule seed last year around this time as he was going to be leaving the business.  Rich has sold some here and there, but he's very selective on who he sells to as much of what he produces is grown out and sold to wholesale growers.
