Growing Prichard Palm in Yuma Az

I first planted it from a 5 gallon in San Diego, then moved it to Arizona and planted it on the north side of the house. It struggled for a little while and then started to look really nice, then I moved again to another house in Yuma and planted it on the east side of the house and now it’s beautiful. It’s about 6 years old with me. It would be a lot bigger if I hadn’t moved it two different times. This palm is not recommended for the extreme weather in south Arizona but it will grow here in partial shade with deep watering.

Not sure what type of Prichard it is.

Nice palm. Never heard them referred to as Pritchard palms. Either Pritchardia sp. or Loulu Palm. Nice to see one growing in AZ.
