Are they planted or potted?

If in the ground both needles and minors should survive temps down to the low teens, even single digits.

If they are newly planted then I'd protect them from anything less than 20F, especially if it is any kind of prolonged cold (more than a few days under 20F).  I'd do this until they are established.  Once established, then needles and minors can go down to single digits, but for less than a few days at a time.
