Message sent.  Copernicia fallaensis would be the perfect centerpiece for my garden! Such a rare and exquisite palm and its green cousin is gorgeous but to have a chance at getting the blue variety is too much to pass on.

Free the palms! That was a fast germination. Gives me hope that mine will germinate too.

And...already popped! At least two of fallaensis and cowellii so far.  That was fast. And this is my third try germinating a #10 batch of fallaensis. RPS ones didn't result in nada.

RPS failure rate is much higher because palm seeds tend to drop in viability precipitously the moment the fruit is removed. Starting the germination process ASAP is essential for good results, and RPS are notoriously slow to ship. Which is why getting seeds from other sources like here is so valuable. I received from MameyDisco 10 copernicia fallaensis on the 16th of November and immediately began the germination process and her they are a mere 10 days later. 8 of 10 have sprouted. Thank you Mamey for providing healthy seeds.

OK.  I don't try palms too often.  So....I got 12 seeds of Copernicia fallaensis instead of 10.  I put them in a bag of perlite and set them on a heat pad after I soaked & nicked them for a few days.  A month later I checked on them and ALL seeds germinated.  The roots were between 3-6 inches long.  I put three each in citrus pots.  Put them back on the heat pad.  Let's see if I can keep them alive now.

Highly recommend.  They appear to be quite vigorous.
