Satakentia starting to show the light purple crownshaft color

I purchased two satakentia 2 1/2 years ago with the idea that one day they would look similar to those beauties on Ken Johnsons farm.  Ken told me they liked part shade to be happy.  The color of the crownshaft on one after shedding a leafbase recently caught my eye.  I had seen the dark purple color before this, but now that light purple I had hoped for is starting to show.  I have found them to be an easy grow, though frost sensitive, better under canopy here.  As ken said, they like plenty of water and some shade.  After hurricane Ian(100mph max) and tropical storm nicole(60 mph max), my yard is a mess with tattered and broken leaves.  Most all of my palms are looking weary and beaten, but there is a bright spot.  Here is the palm that has shed a leaf base 4 days ago.  The color will fade in time I expect, but the good news is that this leaf base is also waiting to come off as its leaflets are all brown, so maybe the bright spot lasts for a while.
