Anybody else growing the red Latan palm in the desert? I've found this species to be much hardier than advertised. Here's my 15 gallon, grown from seed, only brought inside below 32F since 2005. Haven't had to protect it outside in the last 4 years in Arizona. Would already be planted in the ground if I had any space left.

I’ve also grown a bunch of these from seed . And they are currently in 1 gallon so far but a steady grower Definetly prefers lots of water and lots of heat .
