Just sharing a few shots from my yard as we get into December. Fingers crossed for a warm winter!

Bougainvillea at peak bloom - I love the color contrast with the blue Brahea "super silver" in the back. Juabeopsis caffra is behind that brahea also.

Aloe maculata x cameronii (bought this hybrid a while back from Yucca Do.) Looks very much like regular maculata to me, but the flowers are red, which I think is a trait from cameronii. This plant blooms any time of year as long as there's access to water :)

Salvia madrensis - from Sierra Madre Oriental in Mexico

The first ever blooms on one of my ceibas - I like the dark color and on it much more than the standard pink that's planted all over Southern California.

First blooms on Montanoa leucantha - a "tree daisy" from cloudforests in southern Mexico and Central America.
