I got this Chamaedorea that looks just like a Seifrizii to me but was told it was not. Was given to me for free. Can anybody confirm it is something else or just a Seifrizii.  Thanks in advance!

C. seifrizii has much thinner leaflets. What you have there is C. microspadix. It is a hardier palm than seifrizii.

Sorry that's what I meant lol microspadix..I have Seifrizii much thinner and longer leaflets. I don't want it if it's microspadix. I already have one. Thanks for the confirmation!

lol, If i were closer, i might take you up on the offer..  I had a handful raised from seed, but torched them in the sun the first summer here..  It happens sometimes... 🙂

I'm sure there would be plenty of takers out there who'd provide it a good home.

See if it's a male or female. Maybe you can get seeds if your other one is the opposite sex. Then you can have all the microspadix you don't want doubles of for ever and ever...

We all have torched some here and there. Lol all the microspadix I can ever want Lol no thanks I don't like the dropping leaves that much. Not sure if it's a female or male yet but gonna flower.
