The waggie in the pot, and the butia have doubled in size since I last saw them!!!! The yard looks amazing

Looks amazing as always Allen.

 

I often follow you on youtube since are growing zones are close to the same. It's amazing what you have done. Love the huge minors and the pindos look great.

It's so wild to me, how some of the most cold-hardy palms also look, in my opinion, the most wild.  A big minor is one of the most "jungle" looking palms I can think of.  And these are getting big!

@Allen I know you've posted it but I can't remember, how long has this minor been in ground and what size did it start as ?

Edit- is that a regular minor?  It's got the deep v-cut down the middle but it also looks like it has a costapalmate arch as well.

@Allen that's a lot of growth in 6 years!   You said you're in clay, right?  do you use palmgain?
