Wow, that is a tree!  Isn't that the plant that the plant that people in Thailand and Vietnam use as food.  They use the leaves to flavor dishes.  I think I have eaten the leaves -- if I am not confusing it with something else.  But I have only seen it as a little bush.

No, you are correct. It is used in a few dishes as a fresh herb in northern Vietnam and is also used medicinally.

Thank you.  Yes my wife is from Vietnam and I think I have eaten it, both in Vietnam and here.  It has a rather strong taste.
