Growing mexican fan palm in pot

Been growing this palm for a few months now. Looks really healthy and loves the sun coming in from the window. Since I'm in zone 5 I'll be putting it out in the driveway hopefully around memorial day weekend!

I like those. Great job. They also start growing a wider Trunk. I have currently four of them. They are currently five years old, having grown them from seed. They grew really nice for me in a Pot. I decided to plant two of them and protect them in the winter here in Zone 6b.  So far so good. Make sure you either use a heavy Pot or something to secure it as those leaves will act like a sail if it's too windy and keeps tipping over. I built some Planter boxes for them  with 2x4s and it keeps the ones in a Pot nicely secured and upright, even on a crazy stormy day.  And don't worry if a leaf or two get bent by the wind. The new leaves will be stronger to handle it.

Good luck
