Hi all,

I need your help in identifying this chamaedorea. Got the seeds from a friend a few years ago.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm no Chamaedorea expert, but my guess would be oblongata.

Hi all,

can someone confirm this id? Was looking on Palmpedia but I'm still in doubt.

Thanks

I'd post it in the main 'discussing palm trees' forum; that is where all the palm identification geniuses tend to be found. This forum is more of a backwater.

It's Chamaedorea Oblongata. I have two. Look at the leaf shape... distinctive. Too thick to be seifrizi and not thick enough to be Metallica.
