Sabal Palm Sanctuary

I took a tour of the Sabal Palm Sanctuary along the Texas/Mexican border in Brownsville .  There is large native stand of Sabal mexicana on a former plantation.

Thanks. At some point I need to drop more palms off with you and Clay. Have you had any success with your Acrocomia seeds? Mine are still inert to this point, I won’t give up.

Same here with the Acrocomia seeds - no luck yet.  Apparently cracking the hard inner shell exposing the embryo didn't speed up germination after 16 months!  Hope you can stop by next time you're in the area.
