Hello all,

I was down in Virginia Beach yesterday and bought 5 Sabals that the owner said were Sabal minor, but a few of the tags said Sabal bermudana. After some research and people's comments on the video I made on the palms, they definitely do not seem to be bermudana as that species is lighter green and highly costapalmate. They look just like Sabal minor to me, with pretty flat, non-costapalmate fronds, but the biggest one has a curved spear and is developing a small trunk, and the two largest ones have giant "heels", but as others were saying in the comments, I know this may be from them being in pots and having restricted growing room. My guess is still Sabal minor, as that is what the owner said they were, and whichever they are I am excited to plant them this spring! I will put the pictures below, let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

I do think they are sabal minor, but the small trunk could possibly indicate its sabal minor  'louisiana'.

Second one doesn't look like a minor to me.  I do have a Louisiana that has the same curvature, and its about the same size.
