Are they doing public plantings of these now? They have been in Lee County so I’m curious if they’ve started there too.

This may be Buccaneer palm which I believe is native to the Florida Keys if I'm not mistaken. Very beautiful specimen indeed. Definitely check for seeds during seed time each year and see what you find.

Seeds need to be cracked open with a hammer or other tool otherwise they will not sprout.

It had a lot of green seeds on it now.  I will be checking in on it often.  Happy to share some of I can get them.  Update later
