Zone 7b:

Bananas i have are all in ground: Musa basjoo, Musa sikkimensis, Musa itinerans, Ensete maurelli, Musa ornata.

Only basjoo grows bananas but they don’t rippen here. But seeing the fruit is still cool! Basjoo, Ornata are the only 2 producing flowers.

I prefer in ground but i m 7b, so tough ones making it potted are fine. I hate potted bananas that just die in the winter in and out as weather allows. I prefer large than small but again i m open.
