Advise on germinating Hawaiian Ti seeds?

I recently obtained some Hawaiian Ti seeds, I have no experience with these plans and all the YouTube videos I watched only cover propagating from precut stems. I was going to just put them in a clear egg carton with potting soil and keep them warm & moist.

Done this a couple times in the past.. Pretty much all you need to do..  That said, i don't think those are ripe.. Ones i'd sprouted were orange when ready to harvest..  Yours might still sprout, but don't be surprised if not.

I think the ripe color varies. I have several green cultivars that the fruit never turns red. Never have tried sprouting the seed but the green ones grow wild in wetter areas

Interesting.. Possible for sure, though some of the Ti i'd pulled seed from were the standard green variety and were also Orange..  Regardless, All i did was clean off the fruit, then treat the seed like Chamaedorea seed ( plant maybe an inch or two in the soil ).. Can't remember how quickly they popped ( ..Was in FL at the time ) but don't recall it taking long..

@Joe The Palm, you could always email some place like Peter's Crotons & Cordylines ( FL. ) and see what he thinks.. Met him a couple times years ago and seemed to be quite helpful / very knowledgeable.
