What sabal species is this? The trunk looks way thicker and it looks way bigger than sabal palmettos. The seeds are also a lot bigger.

Does it matter? It’s a sabal. Love it or hate it. Not much difference.

Well I wanted to grow one from a seed so I was wondering what kind it was.

Sabal mexicana has larger seeds. Is this in FL?

Mexicana and domingensis have similarly sized seeds (larger than most Sabals).  I would have guessed mexicana but in Florida domingensis is probably more likely.  I can't tell the difference otherwise.IMG_20210329_214852.thumb.jpg.87abbc49916e6775248d7a82cb64b4de.jpg

My guess: domingensis or maritima. Both of much larger than palmetto
