Is there any chance to survive?

Hi, I took this plant (perhaps two months old Washingtonia) from a 11a warm region and planted it on the windowsill (5a outside). She suffered a terrible drying plane flight and looked almost dead for two weeks. Now she has a new thin root 5 millimeters long and this bright green stem (10mm). I use a phytolamp, maintain heat and humidity, but I don't know if the plant is still alive.  Is there any chance and what should I do?

Thank you

Doesn’t look dead. And as mentioned by JLM, new growth is always a good thing. Do you have drainage for that pot? If you don’t you may want to do something about that because you never want root rot. Hope this helps.
