I have a beautiful Bismarck Palm in my yard close to the house. I’ve read various posts about cracks in the trunks and wanted to confirm if this Palm tree is stable. The palm leaves are growing and are of normal color. I’m concerned because the cracks are getting wider.
I am attaching pictures for reference.
Thank you.

Palms frequently get thin vertical cracks as the trunk expands.  The vertical ones going up and then sideways around the trunk look odd.  Possibly old hurricane wind damage?

If it snaps in the next hurricane,at least it looks like it will fold forward away from the house. Without getting up to the crack for a closer inspection, there's no other way to assess how deep the crack is.If you can get up there and work a screwdriver into the crack more than 2 inches, it might be of concern.
