I found one of these at a local nursery a couple of weeks ago, im still trying to find a good spot for it. It might end up in the front yard, as it gets full sun and doesnt flood, ill be able to control watering more. Does anyone have experience with these?

Doesnt look like theres a cure for citrus greening, hoping that whatever treatments you use can work to some extent though. 40 years is certainly a long time.

I grow a "China S-2" satsuma in the ground way up here in the PNW. Very hardy, and unlike most citrus this far north, will fully ripen outside even with our cool weather. It gets some protection (blanket + some x-mas lights) whenever the temps fall below -5C, but tis mostly on its own. I have never seen cold damage on it, even after the past crappy winters we had. In a mild winter for us I do not need to protect it at all.

I have mine in full sun against the SW side of my house, which I'm sure gives it more heat and helps with the cold, although heat units wont be an issue for you in Florida! Its also grafted on "flying dragon" rootstock which also helps with cold and keeps it small. Fruits usually ripen in late February / early March up here.
