Almost certainly. Majesties are commonly sold as houseplants in garden centers even though they make terrible houseplants - they hate being potted. All the other Ravenea species are rare to very rare, hard to find specialty palms sought by serious collectors.

Great, thanks. Is there a way to keep it alive? Or will it just die inside.

They usually decline and die indoors. But they are common and cheap as dirt to replace. You could try letting it stay outdoors during warm weather to prolong its life.

Ok, just worried it might burn outside, maybe under the shade on the porch?

I'd start it with morning sun until 11AM for two weeks. Then leave it out until noon for a month, 1PM for a month, etc.
