Coconuts that clearly need to be watered more next to serenoa repens and I think a Trachycarpus fortunei.

A Howea in an inland town that I noticed the other day, very marginal area for them. It didn't like the winter of 09 but survived. It's looking great and taller than in 2019 now.

The weather station in that town stopped keeping records in 1990, but one at the next town up, also jammed against the same range of hills recorded this. This same week was the hardest frosts since have lived where currently do - it even damaged my at the time young and planted were it got no sun in the winter Queen palm, the only time it has ever shown any damage since was planted in 04.
