Nice double yellow! I have a collection of brugs, but still quite small. I’ll see big ones before a lot of my palms though!

You should add a chair next to that brugmansia and enjoy the evening scent 🥀

Oh my gosh YES!!!

But only in the late evening (usually). Definitely give it a sniff one evening and report. Some brugs are more fragrant than others, but all of mine have some sort of aroma in the evening… one of my very favorite scents in fact. 🥀

I need to try these again. I had some at my other house, did not grow well. I propagated some and gave away. One of my friends grew huge, like 10 ft and extremely fragrant at night. The baby powder smell was incredible.

LOL I laughed at the fragrance comments not because they don't - because they do, but how people describe them is so radically different.

I have a tall growing orange one thats been passed down in our family from cuttings for several generations. During the growing season it will easily reach 8-10feet and begin blooming mid summer - fall.

However, while some people say it smells "perfumy" - it smells like concentrated cat urine to me.... straight up litter box drama! HAHAHA. I keep it because of how easily they grow and nice they look, but I could do without that smell! LOL
