I have just a few photos left from my most recent photo shoot - 6 or 7 shots of our front Caribbean Garden, which weathered Hurricane Ian in relatively good stead compared to the rest of our 0.61 ac paradise. I'm really uplifted by the condition of my two oldest surviving Hemithrinax ekmaniana. I trimmed away some of dead leaves forming their skirts and discovered each is trunking although neither has yet to flower. Maybe soon. I bought them around 2008/09 as 1 mm wide blades of grass from a PTer in SE FL who has since moved to HI. I grew them in 14" treepots (deep roots) until they went palmate, then planted the four largest in the front yard, which is irrigated. The two on the right were close to my Ravenea xenophila and eventually declined and died. I suspect the Ravenea somehow may have caused their demise but can't definitively say. Other seedlings ended up in our Garden Lot (unirrigated) where most still grow, although falling trees/palms from Ian managed to kill a couple of them.

Also in the following photos are my pure Sabal miamiensis and my Sabal miamiensis x mexicana/maritima(?) Leu Garden hybrid. The hybrid attempted to flower but aborted its 2023 crop, due to Ian, I suspect. I cut the inflorescences off the miamiensis so it could devote its energy to growth.

Looks great.   Gotta love the durability of the Cuban/Caribbean palms.   The payoff is slow sometimes, but worth it.   They weather our tropical storms, heat, sun, and drought spells well.  A great match for certain areas of Florida.
