Is this an elephant ear?

Ok so apparently last year, i missed i bulb when i was digging up my canna lilies, and somehow it survived here, and i ended up finding this bulb there a month ago, so i removed it and put it on the side of my house, and when it came up, it looks nothing like a canna, so i assume its an elephant ear, right? It’s just weird how it was in with my canna bulbs.

Looks like the plain ones you buy in bulb form at Lowes/nursery etc

There's a multitude of plants called "Elephant Ears" including the one in your photo. They belong to a lot of different genera, yours being a Colocasia esculenta. Also called Common Taro (and probably a few other common names in various areas). If you look it up on the internet, there's a lot of information about growing them as they're very common.
