This rotation bug has happened to me as well, even with the same image that I had posted previously in proper orientation.  Same image. same desktop PC , same Windows 10, and same internet provider.  :indifferent:

Regardless of what changes I make pre upload to this site, inevitably the some or all will display 90° rotated.

Not sure if it will work for you guys but I've found a way to keep it from happening when i post pictures.

I rotate the picture 90° and save it. Then I go back into the edit function and rotate it 270° back to normal orientation. If I do this all my posted pictures have proper orientation after uploading them.

* this is using an android phone

Yep...  Do exactly the same thing with oddly oriented pictures i transfer from an SD card to my Photo Gallery on the Laptop, before proceeding with any other touch ups that may be needed..  then save / post saved image(s)  Think i've only had one or two " tipsy " pictures in the 10 years posting here.

Would do the same thing with pictures off my phone too ..Transfer image to Laptop, rotate in Photo Gallery ( ..if needed ) and edit / save edited image then post.   Only use Android Phones..

Apple anything  = pass.

Gaussia attenuata

An interesting guess, i can see the reasoning but I can't thnk of any reason why I would have seed from one. I do have a Gaussia maya in my yard, it has seeded but I don't recall sowing any, which means very little lol. Thinking it may be that now.
